I
graduated from University
of Minnesota, Twin Cities in June 2003, with a Master of Art (MA)
degree in Geography with emphasis
on Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
While
at University of Minnesota, I worked on the National
Historical Geographic Information Systems project and at the Social
Science Research Facility (SSRF)
as a research assistant.
During
the summer of 2002, I interned in The
Newberry Library in Chicago,
where I assisted with the Atlas
of Historical County Boundaries project.
My
first Master's degree was in Ancient
Near Eastern Archaeology and Languages, at University
of Berne, Switzerland. I participated in archaeological fieldwork
at Tall al-Hamidiya (Syria) on three separate occasions.
